Service is fast and friendly. Portions are fair for the price. We drive from Morehead City because the seafood is better tasting and priced. If you haven't tried Sandpiper you're missing a treat! Really good sweet tea and hush puppies
The food was excellent. I had the small shrimp plate which looked like enough shrimp for 3 people. Couldn't have done any better. The service was spot on as the waitress recommended items and was always there before the tea ran out. This place was a family oriented place which I always love. Keep up the good work guys.
If you're a seafood lover like I am, I'd encourage you to try the blackened Salmon... My My My, when I tell you it's deldelicious, your taste buds will slap you silly The hushpuppies with the butter an the tea will almost get you full before the meal come. That's how delicious it is.
I landed in RDU and I hoped I could get to Morehead City by lunchtime. Well, that didn't work out . I was driving past the Sandpiper Seafood Restaurant. The parking lot packed. So I figured that was a better review than I could give them. Service was prompt & polite. Even with the busy steady flow. Just a wonderful basic seafood place, clean, plenty of tables and many servers and help. My mean, Small Platter Shrimp & scallops. Every bite tender & fresh. As I am clearly a Nirtherner, I didn't take picture because I was already being watched like a collection of Hawks, but trust me on this one. It's worth the visit, as you're driving down 70 East.great job. I'm stuffed and ready to continue my journey
